Sub-Zero 7012333 UC-15, 7042803 Water Filter

If you've spotted two different numbers listed for the same ice maker filter, there's a simple explanation. 7012333 and 7042803 are the same Sub-Zero UC-15 water filter. Sub-Zero updated the part number over time, but the cartridge, the fit, and the filtration haven't changed at all.

Same Filter, Just a New Number

Older manuals and parts diagrams may still list the Sub-Zero 7012333 UC-15 Water Filter, while current packaging and Sub-Zero's own parts finder now show it as the Sub-Zero 7042803 Water Filter. Either number gets you the identical cartridge, so there's no need to track down one specific version.

Ice That Tastes the Way It Should

A coconut shell activated carbon block inside the cartridge strips out chlorine taste, odor, and sediment before water reaches the freezing cycle, so the Sub-Zero UC-15 Water Filter keeps ice tasting clean instead of carrying over whatever was in the water line.

Fewer Problems Down the Road

Filtered water also helps hold off scale buildup inside the ice maker's internal components, which is part of what keeps production steady and helps the machine avoid the wear that comes with running unfiltered water for months at a time.

An Easy Swap, Either Way You Order It

Installation is identical no matter which number is printed on the box. The old cartridge turns a quarter turn counterclockwise to release, and the new one locks in with a quarter turn the other way, no tools required.
