Sub Zero 7042798 Air Cartridge and 4204490 water Filter Combo Pack

Keeping a Sub-Zero refrigerator at its best comes down to two small parts working together. This sub zero water and air filter combo pack pairs both in a single order, so drinking water, ice, and everything sitting in the produce drawer all get the same level of care.

Why Buy Them Together

Ordering the water filter and air cartridge separately means tracking two different schedules and two different checkout carts. Bundling them into one combo pack keeps both parts on hand at once, so you're never caught mid-swap with only half the job done.

Sub Zero 4204490 Water Filter

This is the filter behind your dispenser and ice maker. An activated carbon block strips out chlorine taste, odor, and sediment before water ever reaches your glass, so pours come out clean and ice freezes clear instead of cloudy.

Sub Zero 7042798 Air Cartridge

This is the current cartridge for Sub-Zero's internal air purification system, cycling the air inside your fridge roughly every 20 minutes. It works against bacteria, mold, and the ethylene gas that causes produce to ripen and spoil faster than it should.

One Simple Habit, Two Results

Treating these as a single maintenance habit makes upkeep easier to remember. A sub zero air filter replacement doesn't need to happen on the same day as your water filter change, but having both cartridges already in the house means neither one gets forgotten.

No Tools Needed for Either Part

Both cartridges install without a technician. The water filter twists into its housing behind the top grille with a quarter turn. The air cartridge slides into its own housing inside the cabinet and locks into place by hand.
